2nd March 2018 – 28th February 2019 Academy – Teacher: 1 year (40 hours a week) • Created lesson plans and monthly schedules • Taught young learners (5 years old, 8 years and 11 years old) • Supervised tests and make-up classes • Wrote progress reports • Supervised activities and field trips 19th July 2017 – 21st August 2017 / 29th July 2015 – 5th August 2015 Education First – Teaching leader: 165 hours (one session observed each course) • Created lesson plans and activities with help from textbooks • Taught young learners (10 – 14 years old) at A1 – A2 level • Supervised the EFCELT test and marked them • Created and ran activities outside the classroom • Took the children on trips • Wrote weekly course plans September 2014 – April 2016 Teaching practice (In University): 11 hours: observed and assessed. • Designed lesson plans • Created activities and lessons as well as using material from teaching books • Taught adult language learners (18+) from C1 and B2 level. • Used interactive white board for teaching • Monitored classroom activities • Observed fellow teachers and gave feedback on every lesson. 2013 – 2015 Teaching observations • Attended an English school in Manchester (A to Z) and sat in two different lessons to observe Callan method. • Observed a number of classes at university taught by both students and teachers as well as watching DVD lessons. |
