Truman State University Bachelor of Arts Baltimore Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound School Baltimore, 2018 Maryland Instructor Lead multi-day expeditions for Baltimore City Public School student ages 13-17. Delivered curriculum to grow mastery in leadership, teamwork, and outdoor technical skills. Used judgement and risk management frameworks to provide for student safety in wilderness areas including outdoor rock climbing sites on the Appalachian Trail as well as along the Potomac River. Delivered trauma informed mentorship to students by providing solutions to behavior challenges and facilitating opportunities for students to assume responsibility for learning outcomes.
