Moving across the globe and having to put your faith in a stranger to find you a safe and successful job can be a very stressful and overwhelming situation. I absolutely owe my success in finding a job that I enjoy to Edu Appletree and I would recommend them to anyone looking to find a teaching job in Korea.

Although there are many recruiters out there Jean and Edu Appletree were the only ones who stayed consistent throughout my job search process. The company was comfortable with my resume and looked for job after job that would fit me. The difference with Appletree is that they didn’t continually try to push one job offer at me. Jean sent me multiple job offers and I was able to work with her to say what I did and did not like about the schools until she was able to find the perfect fit for me. I felt that my happiness and true success in a school was valued and the goal was not just fulfilling a job to get someone placed in a school. 

After finding a school that I was able to sign a contract with Jean and the rest of the Appletree staff continued to be extremely helpful in the stressful process of getting all of my documents together. My recruiter was even in contract with the Korean Agency in California to make sure all of my documents were processed correctly and under the time restraints that I had. There is no way that I would have been able to get all my documents completed and in place without the help with Appletree.

Once arriving in Korea I continued to receive support from Jean and the Appletree staff by arranging someone to meet me at the airport and help me to get onto the right bus. That was extremely comforting having just arrived in a foreign country and knowing that I had someone there to help me out. My communication continues with Jean from Edu Appletree even now, months into my arrival in Korea. I am very thankful that I was able to work with a  company that worked hard around the clock to find me jobs, responded to emails promptly, and continues to care about my well being and enjoyment in my working and living life in Korea.

I would recommend Edu Appletree to anyone looking to find a job in Korea. They truly are an excellent recruitment agency who will without a doubt help take away some of the stresses of finding a job in a foreign country.
