When faced with the challenge of finding a teaching position in South Korea there were a lot of recruiters available online. Finding one can be a harrowing experience because who can you trust when you find dozens of agencies out there. Thankfully I was directed towards Appletree. It was the first recommendation I got, the first one I applied with and because of them I didn’t have to look any further.

Jean and Jane were fabulous. They were attentive and constantly communicating what was expected of me and of the school. They never left an email unanswered for more than a single day unless there was a weekend or holiday. They were also receptive to my questions and answered all of them effectively. Finding a job abroad can be frightening but with their guidance I signed on with a school that was a little outside of what I thought my comfort zone was. They reassured me that the school was what I was looking for and I would be happy with my choice. And they were right. I couldn’t have made a better selection.

Not only this but they were exceedingly attentive even after I received my VISA and was on my way. When my flight was delayed I was able to easily contact them via wifi and they informed the school of the delay. What could have been a messy night stuck in Seoul was instead spent catching up on rest with the knowledge that all would be fine the next day when I arrived into Busan.

I’ve now worked a month in Korea and I’m loving every moment of it. I would strongly recommend Appletree to anyone searching for a position in South Korea. They really have the best staff and your best interests in mind.
