Dear Prospective Teacher,

If you're reading this, it probably means that you've taken the first step toward investigating an exciting life change-- Teaching in Korea! I became interested in teaching abroad during my final year of college. I had no idea where I wanted to go and I had no idea how to go about getting a job abroad. After a lot of research I decided that Korea was the place for me! But I was so confused about where to begin! From the documents to choosing a school to negotiating a contract... I didn't think I would ever get a job!

Thankfully someone recommended me to Appletree. Within a week of first contacting them, I heard back. I worked with Inhui and Rachel. They were so nice and eager to work with me. They asked me questions about myself and where I saw myself teaching/living. They really took a great deal of care to find an excellent school for me. After only a couple weeks I had an interview with a school in Korea. I was offered a great contract by the school. I looked into the school and found it is one of the most reputable franchise schools in Korea. Appletree even put me in contact with two english teachers that were currently teaching at the school. I decided to take the contract. After that Appletree was in constant contact helping me through the many steps of obtaining my E2 Visa. They also arranged my flight, an airport pickup, a bus (to where I would be teaching), and for the school's director to pick me up and take me to my apartment. The whole process, getting the visa and travel to Korea, went seamlessly, in large part thanks to Inhui and Rachel's dedicated work.

I am so happy with my school, my apartment, and the city I am in. My director, fellow co-workers, and students are wonderful! Appletree couldn't have done a better job finding a school for me! I feel so lucky to be able to have this once in a lifetime experience. I hope that you will join us here in Korea!
