Finding a job in Korea for the first time can be overwhelming process, as it most certainly was for me. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of working with Appletree Recruiting.

Appletree wasn’t the first recruiting agency I contacted, but they were the last. Most recruiters seem to only be interested in collecting their fee with as little effort as possible. However, it became clear right away that Jane and Inhui at Appletree were different. Jane and Inhui worked to provide me with job postings that matched my preferences and were able to give quick, honest, and thorough responses to any questions that I had. I also appreciate the patience Appletree showed with me. Jane and Inhui helped me prepare for interviews with each school and even advised me not to sign a bad contract. 

Once I landed the perfect job offer, Appletree walked me through the process of obtaining my E-2 visa. I found it difficult to locate the exact requirements as different websites claimed different things, but I didn’t run into any setbacks following the instructions I received from Appletree. Jane was also able to provide me with a better flight itinerary than those that were available on the major travel sights one week before my departure and made sure I arrived and settled in safely. 

Now, thanks to Appletree, I’m living in Korea doing the job I love. I would strongly advise anyone looking to do the same to look no further than Appletree Recruiting.
